From March 17 to April 17, visit Samaritaine to discover the two limited editions* of Hennessy X.O cognac, as reinterpreted by the British designer.

Combining more than 150 –years of heritage with Kim Jones' creativity, the collection includes a Hennessy X.O "Masterpiece" carafe, as well as a limited-edition carafe.

A demonstration of technical skill and creativity, "like a piece of personalized couture for a bottle"

Produced in a limited run of only 200 pieces, the X.O. "Masterpiece" carafe was designed using 3D printing technology and finished by hand.

The aged finish of the wrapping recalls the nuances of eaux-de-vie selected by eight generations of Hennessy Master Blenders, as a tribute to how Hennessy X.O. cognac is prepared. The titanium wrapping covers the carafe like a second skin and evokes how, at the beginning of the 20th century, Hennessy bottles were hand-wrapped in tissue paper to protect their fragile parchment paper labels.

Another element of the artistic reinterpretation of Hennessy X.O by the British designer sees the carafe wrapped in an aluminum second skin, showcasing its signature shape. An ideal fusion between creativity and the heritage of the Maison de Cognac.

Kim Jones and Hennessy share an impressive know-how and an enhanced sense of innovation. A link that piqued the creator's curiosity: "I was interested in Hennessy's legacy of Master Blenders spending hundreds of years creating this particular cognac," he explains.
