Ryan Mark
Group General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Legal, Compliance & Data Protection

Ryan is responsible for providing strategic legal advice to DFS' senior leadership and overseeing legal, compliance, and data protection risks across the business. Additionally, he serves as the Secretary to the DFS Board.

He joined DFS in 2018 as Vice President and Associate General Counsel and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2023. In January 2025, Ryan was elevated to the position of Group General Counsel and is now a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Ryan began his legal career as a litigation attorney and gained significant experience at DLA Piper and Eversheds Sutherland before moving in-house to Li & Fung. At Li & Fung, he eventually led the Contract & Risk Management Function for LF Logistics, a subsidiary of Li & Fung.
