Edward Brennan
Chairman and CEO

Ed first joined DFS in 1997 as Executive Vice President of Merchandising & Operations for Hawaii, before becoming President of Merchandising of DFS. In 1999, he was named CEO of DFS Group and in 2001 he was appointed Chairman of the Board. He retired from his position in 2012 and became a full-time member of the DFS Board of Directors.

In 2017, Ed returned to DFS Group as Chairman and CEO and led the company until 2020 before resuming his guidance to DFS as a Board member. In 2024, he returned once again to serve as Interim Chairman and CEO.

Ed is also the CEO of the Miller Family Office, representing Bob Miller, the co-founder of DFS. Before joining DFS, Ed spent almost 20 years in management roles with R.H. Macy & Co., which was acquired by Federated Department Stores. Ed and his family own Beak and Skiff Apple Orchards, a five-generation family business that specializes in specialty beverages distributed across the US.
